Personal data protection principles
If you are our customer, newsletter subscriber, or a website visitor, you entrust us with your personal data. We are responsible for its protection and security. It is important to us that your personal data is safe.
Please familiarize yourself with personal data protection, the principles and the rights you have in connection with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Data controller
We are the company webteil studio, which operates the website www.webteil-studio.sk.
Statement
We declare that, as the controller of your personal data, we comply with all legal obligations and that, since 25.05.2018 (inclusive), your personal data has been processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection and on amendments to certain acts, as valid and effective since 25.05.2018.
We declare that:
we will process your personal data only on the basis of a valid legal ground, primarily legitimate interest, performance of a contract, legal obligations, or granted consent,
we fulfill the information obligation under Article 13 of the GDPR before starting the processing of personal data,
we will enable and support you in exercising and enforcing your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR.
Purpose of processing and scope of personal data
We process the personal data you provide to us for the following reasons (to fulfill these purposes):
Contractual relationships and service provision
first name, last name, permanent address, email (if you are a natural person – entrepreneur, also your business name, place of business, business ID, VAT ID, tax ID)
Accounting
If you are our customer, we necessarily need your personal data (billing details) in order to comply with the legal obligation for issuing and recording tax documents.
Delivery of marketing information
We use your personal data (email and name) for direct marketing purposes – sending commercial communications.
If you are our customer, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest, because we reasonably assume you are interested in our updates.
If you are not our customer, we send newsletters only on the basis of your consent.
In both cases, you can withdraw this consent by using the unsubscribe link in every email sent.
We retain your personal data for the duration of limitation periods unless the law provides for a longer retention period or we have stated otherwise in specific cases.
Security and protection of personal data
We protect personal data to the maximum extent possible using modern technologies corresponding to the current state of technical development. We have adopted and maintain all possible (currently known) technical and organizational measures that prevent misuse, damage, or destruction of your personal data.
Our websites are equipped with a secure protocol https://; payments for products are processed via secure payment gateways and the data we store about you is secured on servers by password protection and encryption.
Recommendations (references) to products on the website
We publish your recommendation (reference) for our products only on the basis of your explicit consent to such use, which you grant us by replying to a separate email or by completing a form on the website in which we ask for permission. We publish your photo only with your consent and we will remove your photo and recommendation from the site at any time and dispose of your data if you request it.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Our employees and collaborators who are bound by confidentiality and trained in processing security have access to your personal data.
To ensure certain specific processing operations that we cannot provide ourselves, we use the services and applications of processors who specialize in the relevant processing and are compliant with the GDPR.

We process data exclusively within the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection based on a decision of the European Commission.
Your rights in relation to personal data protection
In connection with personal data protection, you have a number of rights. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by email.
Right to information
You have the right to information, which is fulfilled by this information page with the principles of personal data processing.
Right of access
Based on the right of access, you can request at any time and we will provide you within 30 days with information about what personal data we process and why.
Right to rectification and update
If anything changes on your side, or if any of your personal data is outdated or incomplete, you have the right to have your personal data corrected and updated.
Right to restriction of processing
You can exercise the right to restriction of processing if you believe we process inaccurate data about you, you believe we process unlawfully but you do not want all data deleted, or if you have objected to processing.
You can restrict the scope of personal data or the purposes of processing.
Right to erasure
Another of your rights is the right to erasure (to be forgotten). We do not want to forget you, but if you wish, you have that right. In such a case, we will delete all your personal data from our system as well as from the systems of all sub-processors and backups. We need 30 days to ensure the right to erasure.
In some cases, we are bound by a legal obligation, e.g., we must keep records of issued tax documents for the period specified by law. In that case, we will delete all personal data that is not bound by another law. We will inform you by email once the erasure is completed.
Complaint to the Office for Personal Data Protection
If you feel that we do not handle your data in accordance with the law, you have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection with your complaint at any time. We would be very happy if you first inform us about your suspicion so that we can take action and remedy any potential shortcomings.
Unsubscribing from newsletters and commercial communications
We send you emails with inspiration, articles, products, and services if you are our customer on the basis of our legitimate interest.
If you are not yet a customer, we send them only on the basis of your consent. In both cases, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link in every email sent.
Confidentiality
We assure you that our employees and collaborators who process your personal data are obliged to maintain confidentiality about personal data and about security measures whose disclosure could jeopardize the security of your personal data. This confidentiality continues even after the end of contractual relationships with us. Without your consent, your personal data will not be disclosed to any other third party.
